Still Us

We built a life from ordinary days,
from laughter, plans and dreams,
from knowing what the other thought
without the need to speak.

We shared the big occasions,
but the small things mattered too —
the familiar daily moments
that belonged to me and you.

And now I miss you everywhere,
in ways I can't explain,
in places filled with memories,
in sunshine and in rain.

But love like ours does not become
a story with an end.
It changes shape, but stays with me,
my love, my home, my friend.

So although I walk without you now,
one thing will still be true:
whatever roads may lie ahead,
there will always be me and you.
